State Highway 1 has reopened following a serious crash near Tīrau.
Police were called to the two-vehicle crash between SH5 and Webster Rd about 7.50am.
A Hato Hone St John spokesman said one person was flown to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition and another by ambulance in a moderatecondition.
SH1 was closed between the SH1/SH5 roundabout and SH1/SH28 intersection, south of Tirau, for several hours.
