Copeland Ashcroft Law is now open for business in Rotorua, taking the firm's presence to 13 locations nationwide.
Principal Kate Ashcroft said the expansion was due to the increasing demand for specialist employment and health and safety law support.
"We are seeing unprecedented demand for employment law advice due tothe ever-expanding range of legislative changes and requirements employers face," she said.
"We want to be there at the coal face to help employers navigate through the potential hazards and having an office here in Rotorua is another way of connecting directly with those who need us."
To service the employers of the region, the Rotorua office will be staffed each Wednesday by senior solicitor Renee Harley.
Copeland Ashcroft Law will hold a free seminar on June 27 from 3pm to 4.30pm at Distinction Hotel.
Ashcroft said the firm was keen to share its knowledge as New Zealand's employment landscape continued to grow in complexity.
"Employers are kept on their toes managing all the risks including personal grievances and other claims. We'll talk about what we're seeing happen in this area, and provide guidance about what employers can do to help themselves."
