Oklahoma Thunder centre Steven Adams has brought Kiwi slang into the homes of millions of Americans with his latest promotional spot.
Rotorua native Adams, a fan-favourite with the Thunder, cranked his New Zealand-ness up to an all-time high in his latest commercial for an Oklahoma bank.
"Kia Ora, I'm Steven
Adams," the 7ft star begins in the commercial titled 'speaking Kiwi with Steven Adams and BancFirst'.
"I'm a Kiwi bloke who has a new bach in Oklahoma. Because I'm a bit of a dag, BancFirst has asked me to spin a yarn with you about what makes them so choice. Tu Meke.
"So I'd better get my A into G. It's all about one word that means the same all over the world. Loyal. You'd have to be two sammies short of a picnic to not bust a gut to do all your banking with Bancfirst.
