Estère's Pro Bono Techno Zone is out on August 4.

Estère's new single is just a few weeks away.

Three years after the release of her critically acclaimed self-titled debut, the Kiwi singer-songwriter-producer referred to as the Empress of Electric Blue Witch-Hop is set to share the track Pro Bono Techno Zone, out on August 4.

To mark the release Estère will perform in Auckland on August 11 at LOT23 and in Wellington on August 12 at Meow, backed by a human rhythm section to boot.

The shows will feature visual installations from Robbie Motion and Joshua Lewis.

The Black Seeds have announced an eight-date national tour to follow the release of their album Fabric on September 8.

The eight-piece band, who have just returned from a North American tour, will play Raglan, Auckland, Mount Maunganui, Wanaka, Dunedin, Christchurch and Wellington from September 21 to October 7. See www.theblackseeds.com for gig and ticket details.

The band last week released a funktastic second track from the upcoming album - Freakin' is the follow-up to lead single Better Days.

Frontman Barnaby Weir says Freakin' is the "meaningful, party, pick-me-up track on the album".

"It's a good dose of feel-good funk."

Amy Shark has announced shows in Wellington and Auckland in September to mark the release of her debut EP Night Thinker.

The Gold Coaster, who is set to play Splendour In The Grass this weekend, is also lining up a support slot for Sia's Australian arena shows.

Her single Adore has gone platinum and was shortlisted for APRA's Song of the Year.
