Rotorua Anglers Association club president Gavin Corbett says this will be the third year the club has exhibited at the show.
He says their main objective is to educate anglers to the existence of the club, which has been in existence for almost 70 years and supports the sport of angling.
Gavin says the club teaches beginners and welcomes experienced anglers.
He says the stall at the home show will give people information about the club, and there will be demonstrations teaching people how to do fly tying - a means of catching fish.
Gavin says from the club's point of view the Rotorua Home Show is one of the few ways they have to reach other fishers.
"We know with freshwater there are 2000 odd licences sold every year. Many come to the home show and it gives us a chance to meet and talk with them."
