Mr Thomasen said the newly introduced 10x Anytime Mountain Bike Pass allows visitors 10 full days of mountain bike action to use any time over an 18-month period.
"This pass is a great option for visitors taking the step between one-off and season passes and, at savings of up to $350 compared with purchasing individual passes, it's a great value option, too."
Skyline has 11 dedicated gondolas to take four riders and their bikes to where the trails start, taking the hard work out the park's 200-metre vertical rise and allowing riders to take in the surrounds and rest between rides.
Adding to the action is the chance to witness the specialty mountain bike trails that are taking shape on the slopes of Mt Ngongotaha in preparation for Crankworx Rotorua in March - the world's largest mountain biking festival.
The Crankworx trails at Skyline Rotorua include a Downhill line, a Pump track, Speed and Style and a Slopestyle course and will provide visitors with additional riding opportunities once the festival is complete.
Current trails include Simple Jack (Grade 2), Daywalker (Grade 3), Hipster (Grade 4), Sprint Warrior, Moss Piglet and Ten Fifty One (Grade 5).
Skyline Rotorua is fast becoming known as a world-class downhill mountain bike facility that has placed Rotorua and New Zealand on the international mountain biking map.
