Sam SInclair has been named alongside three Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic team mates in the Silver Ferns A side to play warm up games against visiting international sides.

Rotorua's Samantha Sinclair has been named in a Silver Ferns A side following this week's national netball team trials.

The shadow side will provide opposition for visiting international teams.

The mid courter is joined in the A side by Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic team mates Ellen Halpenny, Jamie-Lee Price and Kelly Jury.

Katrina Grant will captain the full Silver Ferns side with Laura Langman named vice-captain.

"Every time I play for my country it is an absolute honour, and to now be given the opportunity to lead the Silver Ferns as their captain alongside Laura - I'm still a little lost for words," Grant said.

A world champion and Commonwealth Games gold medallist, de Bruin played at three Commonwealth Games (2006, 2010, 2014) and a record five Netball World Cups (1999 - RSA, 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015).
