Save One person has serious injuries after their car hit a parked vehicle on Poihipi Rd near Taupō.
A police spokeswoman said the crash, between Mapara and Whangamata Rds, was reported about 9.07pm yesterday.
A St John spokeswoman said an ambulance and a helicopter were sent to the scene.
One patient
was taken to Taupō Hospital with serious injuries, she said.
The road was clear by 12.50am.
