The Bike Festival continues to spin out the fun with the hugely popular Ride the Runway set to be one of the biggest crowd pullers of the final weekend.
Tomorrow's Happy Ewe Hot Lakes tour kicked off at 10am and again at 2pm and was a ride for anyone who wanted an easy course while getting an overview of the city's culture, history and geology, said festival director, Megan Dimozantos.
Meanwhile at Waipa, keen mountain bikers can take part in the Helibike 8 and 4 hour challenge. This is a team event with thousands of dollars in cash prizes up for grabs.
This is about " a bunch of mates sitting in a tent while their mate smashes out a lap - it's pretty good fun", said Ms Dimozantos.
A photography workshop taken by one of the country's leading action sports photographers, Mead Norton, is also happening at this event.
People's favourite, Ride the Runway takes off again at the airport tomorrow evening.
It's a fun way for everyone to take part in the festival and people are encouraged to dress up and theme their bikes to win prizes.
The evening starts with a spectator special - an elimination race, "Devil take the Hindmost" where one rider is dropped every 600m lap until there is only one person riding.

The evening ends with an open speed session for the fastest flying person in Rotorua history. Food and drink, live music, children's obstacle course, and prizes including an electric bike and a $1000 travel voucher are up for grabs.
On Sunday The Great Electric Bike Challenge takes place between 10am - 2pm at the Government Gardens.
"This is an urban treasure hunt to find all the special spots in our town," said Ms Dimozantos. Electric bikes are available to rent at the event and it is open to all ages and abilities.
Those looking for a more physical challenge can head to Mount Ngongotaha for the Hill Climb. This is an all inclusive gut buster for both road bikers and mountain bikers, and starts at 12pm.
Adventure Quest is a more family focused orienteering event starting at the Waipa MTB Carpark at 2.30pm - 4.30pm.
People don't have to actively participate to take part in the festival either, said Ms Dimozantos. Spectators can get a festival passport and be in for thousands of dollars of worth of prizes donated by local businesses.
Attend festival events or associated businesses and use the barcode scanner on your phone to be in the win, she said.
