"We've named an exciting team this weekend," Sturt said.
The Samoan side come into this one on the back of a 32-all draw against Western Bay of Plenty, the side Te Waiariki lost to in round one.
"Last week the boys played 80 minutes - we spoke about it before we ran on to the paddock, that everyone coming off the bench as well had to bring a bit of sting and do a bit of mahi, and they did.
"I think we got a little bit lazy in that first game and took it a bit lightly, but it was a good wake-up call for some of the lads. It's a different level of rugby from club rugby, you've got to front up."
He said his side played as a team against Eastern.
"The draw and pass was really good, so was going into contact and cleaning out for each other - just the general play was really good."
This will be the final round of the Baywide Pro 4 series, however Te Waiariki continue their build-up to the Te Hiku Maori rugby tournament with a game against Counties Manukau Maori on September 17.
"That's being played at the Rotorua International Stadium. We're doing a gold coin donation and all the money will go to the Edgecumbe Relief Fund.
"We can't give them thousands but we can give them a little gesture, we want to make it as big a game as possible and put Maori rugby back on the map," Sturt said.
