Rotorua sensation Isaac Te Aute's year keeps getting better.
Te Aute and Joe Webber have signed with the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union for 2016 and 2017.
Te Aute, 19, stamped his mark on the national scene this year captaining the Rotorua Boys' High School 1st XV to the nationalsecondary schools title.
He has since become a contracted player in the All Black Sevens squad.
Meanwhile, Webber has had an outstanding representative rugby career so far, including selection in the New Zealand Schools, New Zealand U20s, Maori All Blacks and All Black Sevens. Webber was selected last week in the All Blacks Sevens squad for the first two tournaments of the HSBC World Series in Dubai and Cape Town.
Webber, 22, has represented Waikato in the ITM Cup since 2012.
Bay of Plenty Rugby Union chief executive Mike Rogers said it was good to have the pair come on board with Bay rugby and the Steamers.
"It is great to be able to secure our local talent to represent the Bay. Both Isaac and Joe are fantastic talents and they will bring plenty of excitement that I am sure our fans will enjoy watching.
