Save The Bay of Plenty Steamers have been dealt another blow in the ITM Cup.
The Steamers were beaten in the dying minutes against Northland in Tauranga tonight. They lost 30-27.
The scores were locked at 27-all with 10 minutes to play before Northland kicked a penalty on 77 minutes to
win.
It is the Steamers seventh loss in eight games this season.
The Steamers are clear favourites to pick up the wooden spoon in the ITM Cup Championship.
