Two Rotorua players have made the Bay of Plenty Roller Mills squad.

Rotorua Gold's Brooke Mitchell and Rotorua Maroon's Cameron Glasgow have been picked in the squad to compete in this year's Northern Roller Mills Rugby Tournament at St Peter's School in Cambridge from October 10-15.

Whakatane's Kori Hemopo
has also made the squad.

Coach Cliff Honey said he was excited about the upcoming season.

"The quality and depth of players around made it a very hard decision in selection and a lot of top players unfortunately missed out. We are looking forward to yet another positive season."

The Bay of Plenty team was selected from players in the Tai Mitchell tournament held in Mt Maunganui earlier this month.

The Northern Roller Mills Rugby Tournament is for under 13-year-olds and is weight restricted to under 57kg.

It is the second oldest provincial rugby tournament in New Zealand behind the Ranfurly Shield and has been the starting point for many All Blacks over the years.

The 2017 NRM Roller Mills Draw is out.... Good luck to all the teams.
