After three weeks of Baywide club rugby, the Te Puke-based clubs of Rangiuru and Te Puke Sports are the only teams that remain unbeaten in the premier competition.

They lead the Farmlands Co-operative Baywide premier competition standings with defending champions Te Puke in top spot boasting three wins from three matches, and Rangiuru second place with two wins and one draw.

No other team is unbeaten in the competition, but Rangiuru, who drew with Greerton in round one, narrowly beat Rangataua in week two and secured a comfortable win against Te Teko just last weekend, are yet to face Te Puke.

Both teams head into the fourth round tomorrow as clear favourites.

Te Puke Sports look set to continue their winning streak when they host Rangataua at Murray Salt Stadium following from their 50-10 win over Greerton Marist last weekend.

Rangiuru also head into tomorrow's clash with confidence after their 52-5 win over Te Teko last weekend, set to take on Ōpōtiki - one of three clubs yet to win a match - at the eastern Bay of Plenty club's Princess St Reserve base.

The two other clubs sitting at the bottom of the standings - without any wins - are Te Teko and Arataki. The sides play each other at Te Teko's Dunderdale Park this round and
both teams will be keen to break the cycle and get some points on the board with a win.

In the remaining Baywide premiership matches, Rotoiti host Te Puna, who are two of the five clubs sitting in equal third place on the standings.
