It will go down as one of the most daring celebrations performed at a Rotorua rugby match.
Waikite winger Autumn-Rain Stephens completed the ice challenge during her team's semifinal match on Sunday, in the Bay of Plenty women's competition.
The ice challenge has become a popular phenomenon in New Zealandand features daring participants submerging themselves in ice-cold water or having a bucket of ice water poured over them.
Stephens completed the bone-chilling challenge after scoring her second try of the match on Sunday.
