Rotorua's property values continue to climb

Property values in Rotorua are continuing to rise.

The latest QV House Price Index for August shows the average value of a home in Rotorua has jumped 17.1 per cent in the past 12 months.

The current average value is $407, 318.

The average value in July was $399,024, which is a 2.1 per cent increase last month

Values have increased 3.3 per cent over the past three months and now sit 38.7 per cent above the 2007 market peak.
