It's a small world after all for a Rotorua woman who is taking her family to Disneyland after winning $169,762 with Lotto Strike.
The woman was watching the live Lotto draw at home when she saw that she had three Strike numbers and quickly looked online to see her prizewas $800.
"When I gave the ticket to the Lotto lady she said 'did you know that we sold the big Strike winner?', and I said 'It's not me, I've won $800 and I'm pretty happy with that'
"Then the machine went ping, ping. And the lady says, 'sorry, you're wrong - you are the big winner'. My legs just started shaking!" the winner said.
The woman has never been more delighted to be wrong in her life.
The woman, who has recently retired, is planning on using her winnings to take the whole family on a trip to Disneyland to celebrate.
"We always joked about going to Disneyland if we won Lotto. And now that we have we just thought - why not!" said the winner, who wishes to remain anonymous.
