It's hard to imagine last year's helloworld Rotorua sponsorship for the Supper Club could be topped – but it has been.

In 2017 helloworld offered a $15,000, 14-night cruise in Southeast Asia to be auctioned on the night. This year the holiday package on offer is a 10-night cruise to Europe for two on board the luxury liner Wind Surf, valued at $20,000.

The cruise takes in Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Slovenia.

Helloworld owner and manager Deborah Kay said this was the sixth year the travel business had sponsored the Supper Club and, as always, she was delighted to be able to bring such an outstanding prize to the table.

"Our hope is always to bring a great prize to be auctioned because, the bigger the prize the higher the bid, and more money raised for a fantastic charity," Kay said.

She said while there were many charities in Rotorua that did incredible work, the Supper Club was the one she wanted to be part of.

"It's a very personable charity. Sickness touches the lives of so many so to be able to help out with a little time out is a great thing."

The Supper Club raises funds for the Ronald McDonald House Family Retreats at Ngongotaha. This year's March 7 event is sold out.

Kay described the Supper Club organising committee as exceptional.

"Each year they put on this amazing event that has such a great atmosphere, we at helloworld are very happy to be supporting them again."

She said her suppliers obviously felt the same way.

"I'm fortunate to be able to have great relationships with our generous suppliers, some of which have attended the Supper Club and have been really impressed with the way everyone gets behind the fundraising event.

"This is why they are happy to get on board and help me put together a great prize."

Supper Club organiser Rob Parry said he and the committee had been "humbled" by the generosity of helloworld and its suppliers.

"To be able to have access to a prize of this calibre is overwhelming, it really is one of the most generous offers.

"We are over the moon to be working with helloworld once again."
