The Bay of Plenty Volcanix squad has been narrowed down to 23 players ahead of their first Mitre 10 Farah Palmer Cup match against North Harbour this weekend.

Five Waikite players Autumn-Rain Stephens, Janina Khan, Julie Howard, Kaci James, and Luka Connor have made the final cut along with
Rotoiti's Lavinia Gould and Lily Florence

"We have selected a very young side but we are excited by that as we believe this side are capable of putting in the hard yards to get rewards," said Volcanix coach Brendon Webby.

Bay of Plenty Volcanix play North Harbour this Saturday at Rotorua's International Stadium.

Kick of is 2pm.
