With eight rounds of the Rotorua Premier 1 competition played, the Murupara Stingers are on top with seven wins and 14 competition points.

Marist Magic remain in second place with twelve competition points and Rotorua Girls' High School in third with 10 points.

Kahukura Red and Mitchell Downs are at six points with three and two wins consecutively, while Waikite Panthers are bottom, still hunting their first victory.
