Murupara Stingers will hope to hold on to top spot in Rotorua Netball's Premier 1 grade when they take on fifth-placed Mitchell Downs this weekend.

Marist Magic are one win behind Murupara and this weekend they play Kahukura Red, who are in fourth place with three wins from eight games.

Third-placed Rotorua Girls' High School will be looking to stay in touch with the top two when they play bottom of the table Waikite Panthers.
