But the tongue-in-cheek article from Paste magazine, which has nearly 100,000 Facebook followers and more than 3 million monthly visitors, is plugged as a travel guidefor single people not wanting to be surrounded by happy, lovey-dovey couples.
Anyone who thinks Rotorua's not a hot-spot for romance has to be dreaming!
Of Rotorua it says: "While the hot springs and countryside are beautiful, the smell is not. Often referred to as "Sulfur City," it will be hard to set the mood here."
