Rotorua crash victim was 80 years old

The woman who died after a two-car crash at Tikitere last week was Ngaire Helen Woods, 80, of Rotorua.

The crash happend just after 9.30am on May 22 at the intersection of State Highway 30 and State Highway 33.

Woods was initially taken to hospital in a serious condition but died later that day.

The Serious Crash Unit continues to investigate the crash.
