Tickets for International reggae star Spawnbreezie's Rotorua gig tomorrow have sold out - but anyone wanting to go along to the gig may still be able to attend the concert.

America-based Spawnbreezie, who has been to Rotorua at least twice before and enjoyed his favourite fish and chips from Rotorua's Oppies in Fenton St each time, is coming back to perform at Kalah Bar in Ngongotaha tomorrow.

One of Spawnbreezie's most popular songs is I'm In Love, which has received a lot of radio play in New Zealand.

Kalah Bar co-owner Janina Khan said tickets for the show sold out a week ago but she was getting phone calls from fans asking for tickets every day.

She said tickets for the event had been snapped up, proving people would pay for shows they wanted to attend.

However, she said anyone who had missed out on tickets could still attend the show.

There would be limited door sales available from 6pm tomorrow.

Support acts on the night included Tasty Brown and Chad Chambers.

Miss Khan said she was very excited about this weekend's gig.

She understood a lot of people were travelling from around the Bay of Plenty to attend.

"We're very excited.

"We're just really happy the show did sell out."

Miss Khan hoped people enjoyed the concert and atmosphere of the bar.

She said it had undergone some renovations and now looks a bit different.

There was now a public VIP area, and they had moved the bar and used their space better.

Meanwhile, while in Rotorua, Spawnbreezie is expected to return to his favourite fish and chip shop on Monday.

However, he will also be treated to a hangi at the Kalah Bar before then.
