Raggamuffin is back in town, Rotorua Daily Post entertainment reporter Adriana Weber will be reporting live from the Rotorua International Stadium.

Saturday

It's a very hot day at Raggamuffin.

The app says 22 degrees but it feels a lot hotter folks.

Today an even bigger crowd gathered at the stadium for the second day of the festival.

The show kicked off with local band Strangely Arousing, who got a rousing response from the crowd.

Sons of Zion and Three Houses Down have taken the stage, with Common Kings up next.

3pm: Common Kings wow the crowd with people singing along and dancing to their tracks.

Festival-goer Rose Archer travelled from Auckland for the show and said she was thrilled to see Common Kings perform.

"They're great! The music this year is awesome. The atmosphere here is really friendly too, everyone's having a good time," she said.

4pm: House of Shem take the stage. The day is getting hotter and more and more people are getting up to dance.

5pm: Aotearoa Reggae All Stars are welcomed to the stage by a cheering audience.

6pm: great set from Groundation. Still a beautiful day here. Crowd in great form. Call out the instigators because there's something in the air!

7pm: Crowd waiting for Morgan Heritage to make an appearance.

7.30pm: Morgan Heritage take to the stage creating an awesome vibe but it's dinner time so we're off to check out the food stalls. There's some delicious options though I think we'll give the Jamaican curry goat a miss.

9pm: Crowd is waiting for the big finale, Damian Marley. There seems to be a bit of delay which is causing a bit of suspense. Stay tuned.

Raggamuffin is finally here.

The two-day event kicked off at about 4.30pm, with a crowd of thousands gathering at the Rotorua International Stadium.

Dreadlocks, bare feet and an array of rastafari colours were on show as people crowded around the main stage to get close to the performing reggae artists.

First up was New Zealand band Soljah who performed until about 5.30pm.

6pm: Tiki Taane receives a warm welcome by concert-goers who all sing along to his first song Always On My Mind. He goes on to sing a cover of Somewhere Over The Rainbow,which draws a crowd.

6.15pm:Tiki Tane is joined by DJ Optimus Gryme and the
pair play some drum and bass and dubstep which gets the mood pumping.

7pm: Ardijah perform for the first time at Raggamuffin. The crowd are loving the group's tunes and the area around the main stage is getting more and more crowded.

8.30pm: Rebel Souljahz perform. A strong turnout to see the artists perform.

9.45pm:Shaggy takes to the stage for the night's finale.

Tomorrow's line up features local band Strangely Arousing, Sons of Zion, Three Houses Down, Common Kings, House of Shem, Morgan Heritage, Damian Marley and more.
