Local businesses have teamed up to raise awareness and about $300 to help people living with epilepsy.
Staff at Rotorua Top 10 Holiday Park held an event on Wednesday for International Purple Day, which raises awareness of epilepsy.
An estimated 90,000 people in New Zealand have the condition, including Campbell
Pope, who works as a customer service ambassador at the holiday park.
It was his idea to hold the fundraising event, which featured raffles, an auction, a shared morning tea and dressing up in purple.
Other local businesses got involved, donating items for the raffles and auction.
