Pukeroa Oruawhata Trust has announced the appointment of Jeanna Love and Kiriwaitingi Rei as non-trustee directors to the Pukeroa Group of companies.
"We are delighted to have Jeanna and Kiri come on board as part of our longer-term plan to build governance, commercial depth and succession experience within Ngati Whakaue,"said Pukeroa chairman Malcolm Short.
"Their appointment follows an open process which was participated in by a large number of potential candidates and it's great to see we have such interest in these developmental roles within the Pukeroa Group.
"Jeanna, who will sit on our Pukeroa Holdings board focusing on our core retail developments has a background in accounting, finance and management.
"Kiriwaitingi who is a lawyer sits on a number of boards including Future Director Auckland International Airport Limited and will join our emerging Lakefront Holdings tourism initiatives board.
"We welcome both Jeanna and Kiriwaitingi as non-trustee directors to the Pukeroa governance team for a period of three years starting on 1 October 2017."
