A pregnant woman has been flown to hospital after a car crash in the Eastern Bay of Plenty today.
The 21-year-old was involved in a two-car collision in Opotiki this morning.
The woman was the front seat passenger of one of the cars and suffered head and back injuries.
The
Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was called to fly the woman to Whakatane Hospital, because of the nature of the injuries and her pregnancy.
