Powerball jackpot hits $23m after Rotorua Strike Four $700k Lotto win

Lucky Lotto tickets have been sold around the region, including a big win for one Rotorua punter.

A winning Strike Four ticket sold at Paper Plus Rotorua Central pulled in $700,000 in Saturday night’s live draw.

Powerball was not struck and rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $23 million.

Meanwhile, four players from Hamilton, Tauranga, Whanganui and Southland each won $250,000 with Lotto First Division.

The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Dinsdale Lotto and Stationery in Hamilton, Four Square St Johns in Whanganui, and on MyLotto to players from Tauranga and Southland.

Thirteen players nationwide each won $27,679 with Lotto Second Division, including two from the Bay of Plenty.

One took their total winnings to $52,945 after a Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at New World Ōpōtiki.
