A Rotorua man missing since leaving a family member’s home four days ago has been found safe and well.

Hayden Kemp, 40, was last seen on Friday around 6pm leaving a property on Ash Pit Rd in Rerewhakaaitu.

Police had been looking into whether Kemp had gone hunting but searches of areas he was known to hunt had turned up empty.

Shortly after 9pm on Monday, police said Kemp had been located “safe and well”.

They thanked the public for their help.

Police earlier said they and Kemp’s partner were concerned for his welfare and wanted to ensure he was okay.
