Police release name of person killed in Bay of Plenty crash

Police have released the name of the person who died in a crash on State Highway 2 near Nukuhou in the Bay of Plenty on Friday.

The person killed was Denny Wiki, 58, of Matahi.

Police are investigating the crash which involved two cars at the intersection with Bells Rd about 4.20pm.

Anyone who witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken with police is asked to contact Bay of Plenty Police on 07 3085255.
