Police have released the name of the man who died in a single-vehicle crash on Taneatua Rd near Whakatane yesterday morning.
He was 27-year-old Johnathan Teira Eparaima of Nukuhou.
Police have extended their sympathies to his family.
The Serious Crash Unit continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
