Police release name of Lake Matahina fatal crash victim

Police have released the name of the person who died in a crash on Galatea Rd near Lake Matahina in the Bay of Plenty early yesterday.

She was Rita Ataahua Peka, 38, of Te Teko.

Police have extended their sympathies to her family at this difficult time.

The Serious Crash Unit continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
