Police are looking for 22-year-old Takau Vakatini who has a warrant out for his arrest.
In a statement police said Vakatini lived in Taupo but was seen in the Ngapuna/Owhata area of Rotorua yesterday.
He is a gang member with a distinctive bulldog tattoo on his cheek.
