She said local businesses were always ready and prepared to donate prizes and the generosity of people in town, and their willingness to lend the support to the event and trust, blew her mind.
"I like to think people are aware of it and look forward to it. It's part of the fabric of the fundraising calendar."
Ms Walker said the trust's 10-year anniversary merchandise sold well.
There were a lot of stand-out costumes, including lots of hula skirts, people dressed up as the pink ribbons, a woman who was a Barbie doll inside a box and people in matching Mickey Mouse T-shirts.
There was also a big Cancer to the Wind group all dressed in pink as well as firefighters wearing pink tutus and wings, Ms Walker said.
