A person is now stable in hospital after a workplace incident in Taupō.
Emergency services were called to a workplace on Mamaku St in Tauhara about 10.20am yesterday.
A St John spokeswoman said one person had been critically injured and flown by rescue helicopter to Rotorua Hospital yesterday.

District Health Board spokeswoman said the person was in a stable condition in Rotorua Hospital.
When approached for comment, WorkSafe New Zealand said it had not been notified of the incident at that stage.
