Person injured in crash between ute and tractor near Ōpotiki in Bay of Plenty

Police are at the scene of a crash involving a ute and a tractor near Ōpōtiki in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to the scene on State Highway 35 at the intersection with Wairakaia Rd at 7.05am.

One person has moderate injuries, she said.

A tow truck has been called as well as contractors to provide traffic cordons.
