Pedestrian killed in Kinleith named

Police have named the pedestrian that was struck and killed on Tuesday morning on State Highway One, Kinleith.

She was Anita Kainuku, a 55-year-old from Tokoroa.

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
