We asked Mokoia Intermediate pupils why they liked going to the school.

It's fun because there are lots of sports. I like rugby, league and discus. I'm in the rumaki class. We learn in Māori and you get to learn your whakapapa and history.

I like the environment and that we're all a big whānau. Everyone knows everyone and gets along. The teachers all care about you.

I like my teacher because her classroom is colourful and she gets you outside and has the same amount of passion for outside and inside learning.
