One person has been seriously injured in crash between a car and a motorcycle in Taupo.
A police spokeswoman said the crash happened at the intersection of State Highway 1 and Northcroft St in Waitahanui just before 11am and the road was blocked.
An ambulance spokeswoman said the injured personwas flown to Waikato Hospital by resuce helicopter with serious injuries.
Police, ambulance and fire services had been called to the scene.
A fire service spokesman said crews cleaned up a small petrol leak from the car.
