One lane blocked south of Taupō following crash

The south bound lane of State Highway One is currently blocked just south of Taupō after a two-car crash.

Police were called to the scene, about five minutes south of Taupō at 2.10pm.

A police media spokeswoman said police were still on route to the crash and there were reports of an altercation between the drivers of the cars.

She said no injuries were reported.
