One person has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at an industrial building in Wikaraka St, Ngongotaha around 2.20pm today.
Three fire crews are at the scene. A Fire Service spokesman said at least three people were in a workshop at
the time the fire broke out.
Fire Brigadeand police staff at the scene told The Rotorua Daily Post they could not comment. The Department of Labour and the Rotorua District Council pollution control section are at the scene.
Workers at the building declined to comment.
A Fire Brigade spokesman said the fire was under investigation.
