One dead in car crash on Broadlands Rd

One person has died following a car crash on Broadlands Rd.

A man has died in a car crash on Broadlands Rd, near White Rd last night.

A police media spokeswoman said police were called to the crash at 11.20pm where a vehicle hit a bank and rolled.

She said the sole occupant was declared dead at the scene.

Contractors were called to clear the road.

The serious crash unit is investigating. The name has yet to be released.

A fire communications spokesman said three fire trucks responded and helped at the scene.
