One dead after quad bike crash

Save One person is dead and another is in hospital following an overnight quad bike crash near Taupo.
Emergency services were called to the crash in a bush reserve on State Highway 41, near Kuratau, about 1am this morning.
Three people were on the bike when it rolled down a bank
and into a stream, a Greenlea Rescue Helicopter spokesperson said.
One person died at the scene while a 28-year-old woman was flown to Rotorua Hospital with moderate injuries.
The death will be referred to the coroner.
