Olympian Nick Willis to run with Rotorua public

Double Olympic medallist Nick WIllis will be in Rotorua this Wednesday as part of Lake City Athletic Club's Night of Miles event.

For five weeks 15 locals have been taking part in the Nick Willis Miler Method Rotorua Boot Camp and tomorrow night sees the culmination of their work.

There will be the opportunity for anyone to run or walk a mile following a special warm up led by the middle distance runner.

The warm up will involve jogging, stretching and walking along with tips from Willis.

The free event will be held at Rotorua International Stadium No 2 Track with gates opening at 6.30pm and the first mile starting at 7pm.

Willis will talk about his Olympic and athletic experiences at the end of the event - and he will also be signing autographs.
