With more than $25,000 in items up for grabs, organisers of tomorrow's Community Fundraiser for Team Meads is set to have something for everyone.

And as well as the opportunity to grab some bargains and have a great night of entertainment, there's the bonus that the money raised will help the Ngakuru-based family of toddler Frank Meads after the 1-year-old was diagnosed with leukaemia.

Organiser Suzie Evans said community support for the fundraising event had been huge and she was surprised at how many people had got behind the event by donating more than 90 items, ranging from 30 tonnes of lime to weekend get-aways.

"This community has just been out of control. It's a really diverse range [of items] which is really cool."

The event includes a charity auction, rolling supper and a band. Entry is free, but supper is by gold coin.

Mrs Evans said there was plenty of talk around the community about the event, now she was hoping people turned up to support it.

The Meads family have been in Auckland at Starship Hospital since Frank was diagnosed two months ago.

Mum Tracey has a blog outlining his progress and said they had been overwhelmed by the support received.

"Talking about generosity and big hearts, the goings-on back home for the fundraiser really leaves us speechless and overwhelmed," she said.

The event starts at 7pm at the Ngakuru Hall. Eftpos facilities will be available.
