A group of Mokoia Intermediate pupils were jumping for joy thanks to a grant from the Ngati Whakaue Education Endowment Trust.
A group of 19 Year 7 and 8 pupils who showed a positive attitude and outstanding attendance were treated to a trip to Motion Entertainment's Dialled in Trampoline Parkon Thursday. Mokoia teacher Tracey Low said the trust gave funds to the school to help provide additional support for students who needed a boost in literacy and numeracy.
The funding is also used to employ teacher aides to run targeted small group booster programmes throughout the year.
"The students have been recognised with a shared morning tea for everyone who attended. As an end of year treat, students who had outstanding attendance and demonstrated a positive attitude to learning were rewarded with a trip to Dialled In Trampoline Park."
