A group of Mokoia Intermediate pupils were jumping for joy thanks to a grant from the Ngati Whakaue Education Endowment Trust.

A group of 19 Year 7 and 8 pupils who showed a positive attitude and outstanding attendance were treated to a trip to Motion Entertainment's Dialled in Trampoline Park on Thursday. Mokoia teacher Tracey Low said the trust gave funds to the school to help provide additional support for students who needed a boost in literacy and numeracy.

The funding is also used to employ teacher aides to run targeted small group booster programmes throughout the year.

"The students have been recognised with a shared morning tea for everyone who attended. As an end of year treat, students who had outstanding attendance and demonstrated a positive attitude to learning were rewarded with a trip to Dialled In Trampoline Park."
