Details of a new agreement between Rotorua Lakes Council and the Boryeong Mud Festival Foundation are still unknown.
The new agreement was being sought following the council's turnaround on the purchase of $90,000 of mud powder from the South Korean foundation.
Earlier this month the Rotorua Daily Post asked whatwould happen with the $90,000 that was to be used to buy the mud for the Mudtopia Festival. Council acting group manager operation Henry Weston said a new agreement was being sought.
In response to questions today, the council said there was no update on the agreement.
