Entertainment, DIY and shopping are fusing together for a fun night revolving around raising money for Rotorua Community Hospice.

This year's Mitre 10 Mega Rotorua Ladies Night is on October 9.

Store manager Warren Rehu says at Ladies Night suppliers will be there to help the ladies with products they sell.

There will also be games and spot prizes the suppliers will put on.

The night will include food, raffles and special guest speakers Kasey and Karina Bird, New Zealand Masterchef winners 2014, as well as an encore performance from Harcourts Dancing for Hospice dancers.

The Ladies Night is GST free and tickets are $5. The first 500 tickets sold will receive a goodie bag.

He says through a raffle someone can win an exclusive dinner for four cooked by Kasey and Karina. Raffle tickets are $5.

"For me, it's a great way of getting involved with the community... and we are always proud to be able to raise funds for Rotorua Community Hospice."

Rehu says Mitre 10 Mega Rotorua is a huge supporter of Hospice and always has been.

"It is close to home with a lot of team members here who have lost loved ones and have been involved with hospice.

"It's always refreshing to be able to give something back."

Rehu says if ladies need to know some tricks of the trade for DIY this event is a great opportunity to learn.

"The most important thing is proceeds all go to help hospice. It's a great night to get your friends together and come into our store to relax in a safe environment."
