A man has robbed a Kawerau dairy armed with a tomahawk.
Police are asking for the public's help to solve the robbery at the River Road Dairy in Kawerau on Saturday about 6.45pm.
The offender threatened the shop assistant, before stealing cigarettes and confectionery.
Police believe a man captured on
CCTV footage might be able to help with inquiries.
The man is wearing a red bucket-style hat, black rainjacket with red trim on the pockets, and black pants with a rope and hook around the hips.
